Books on tape to assist struggling readers with grade level material. Will help them from spending too much time focusing on decoding and therefore increase their comprehension of the text.
Enhancement materials to develop a program that conforms to the new science standards that were recently adopted. The materials would make the science curriculum more accessible and comprehensible to every one student.
Weekly books for disavantaged students to take home for daily reading. Books are returned weekly. The grant targets English Learners and transitioned books but includes all students.
