Living History

Fourth grade students will experience "Living History" at a local campground, recreating and enacting daily life activities of California settlers in the mid-1800's. The intent is to enhance study of California history by integrating visual and perfoming arts, geology, gold panning and messurment.

Fith Grade Combination Locks

This grant request is to purchase a class set of thirty combination locks. This will enable fifth grade students to practice opening combination locks before entering middle school. This grant will alleviate one of the major anxieties that 5th graders feel entering middle school. The locks will be inventoried and shared with all the 5th graders.
