Last year the yearbook was produced completely on library computers. No cmputer was big enough to hold the entire year book and tape backup system was borrowed. The optical drive will facilitate the storage of this information and give students an ability to transport it more easily.
A software- Photoshop- will be purchased to teach students techniques used in computers to edit photographs. The software will be used by photography, yearbook and newspapper staffs.
Library simulations will allow students to experience role playing, active participation and inclusion in projects from law, drama, government, debates and a variety of historical events. They provide practice in speech, writing, designing, drawing and cooperating.
Color Laser Jet Printer and scanner to be used with the graphic design class. Equipment will be housed in the library accessible to all students. Also will be used for publishing programs for middle school functions.
