To fund Soundfield Amplification Systems for the first grade classrooms within TTUSD. The system is an early intervention auditory tool for ensuring student achievement. Special Education is using matching funds to equip the second grade classrooms.
To purchase the EroScan and SureSight Screeners as supplemental equipment for the school nurses so they can objectively and efficiently identify hearing and vision impairments in difficult to test children to ensure early intervention and academic success.
Program will help students, both special education and mainstream education, with sensory motor integration, from preschool to middle school.The grant will fund tools and equipment, such as weighted vests and “Thera bands,” to help students calm, attend to task and assist with balance, strength and coordination.
