Egg Painting

This is a multi-site, multi-class workshop to create a series of stories painted on eggs, inspired by what the childrenn have learned about the fragility of the world and caring. Each class will be involved in an in-depth 3 week workshop. Ideas will originate from classroom discussions and by the artist, Cathee van Rossem St. Clair. The focus will be the enviornment, endangered species and various cultures throughout the world. In addition a professional performer - a Zulu from Africa - will enrich several classes with storytelling, dance and music. Our funds will cover the cost of materials - including 2976 eggs!
