Skiing for Schools
Thank you for a wonderful Skiing for Schools season!
With your help, we raised over $62,000 for our local schools.
Excellence in Education board members and Northstar GM, Tim Silva, enjoying the snow at Northstar's January 4th Skiing for Schools date!
On selected days, the participating resorts are offering skiers and snowboarders special discounted lift tickets and the opportunity to support education. The proceeds from your lift ticket purchase go directly to the Excellence in Education Foundation, which provides enhanced educational opportunities for our local students.

- Alpine Meadows Community Benefit Day - Sunday, April 5 * Thank you Alpine Meadows!
- Squaw Valley USA - Sunday, April 19 -Skiing for Schools Thank you Squaw!
Purchase tickets in advance at all Porters Sports locations (Truckee, Tahoe City, and Incline Village). A limited supply of tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis and will not be available at the resorts the day of the event. Check and cash are preferred form of payment at Porters. Tickets are not refundable. Thank you for your generous donation.
* $25 lift tickets are available at Homewood and Alpine Meadows on these days. Proceeds will benefit Excellence in Education and other local organizations.
