Skiing for Schools

Thank you for a great season! All tickets are sold out.

Participating local area resorts annually offer skiers and snowboarders access to discounted lift tickets and the opportunity to support local education. One hundred percent of lift ticket proceeds benefit the Excellence in Education Foundation.

$50 lift tickets valid Sunday - Friday, all season, non-holiday.  

Northstar
Sold out for 2016-17!  

Tahoe Donner Downhill
$35 lift tickets valid Sunday - Friday, all season, non-holiday.  

Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows
$100 lift ticket valid from April 1, 2017 to end of season.

Tahoe XC
$15 trail pass valid Sunday - Friday, all season, non-holiday.  

Tahoe Donner Cross Country  
$15 trail pass valid Sunday - Friday, all season, non-holiday.

Where to buy Lift Tickets

A limited number of tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and are not available for purchase at the resorts. Tickets are non-refundable. 

Downhill lift tickets can be purchased in advance at

Tahoe Dave's (Truckee, Kings Beach, Tahoe City).

Cross-country trail passes can be purchased in advance at

Paco's in Truckee
Alpenglow in Tahoe City.

A limited supply of tickets are sold on a first-come, first served basis and will not be available at the resorts.  Tickets are not refundable. All Skiing for Schools proceeds are donated to Excellence in Education through your lift ticket purchase and the generous support of participating ski resorts. The Foundation would also like to acknowledge both Northstar and Squaw/Alpine for their generous $15,000 cash contributions in addition to the discounted lift tickets provided.  Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge are making a cash contribution to Excellence in Education this year instead of contributing tickets to the Skiing for Schools program.
